The EUROPEAN CERTIFICATION COUNCIL, or certcouncil.eu for short, is an internationally active certification body with partners in several European Union member states. certcouncil.eu certifies organisations and processes in accordance with recognised standards such as ISO 9001:2015, and certifies individuals in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024. The Council’s members have also stipulated that all process evaluations and audit requirements for both organisations and individuals must not only comply with the standards, but above all must at all times demonstrate a sustainable focus on practical relevance, practical applicability and alignment with real-world requirements.

certcouncil.eu thus defines a philosophy that moves away from purely theoretical approaches towards pragmatic assessment frameworks, which can and should be perceived by all stakeholders as comprehensible and tangible in multiple senses of the word. Checks and audits are indispensable, but they are only accepted and valued if they are recognisably meaningful and do not merely comply with a mere formality.

Notwithstanding this self-imposed, higher standard, certcouncil.eu naturally also fulfils all the requirements placed on a conformity assessment body in accordance with the applicable standards. The same applies to the certification processes in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024 and ISO 9001.

Particularly in the field of personal certification, we offer a broad yet finely differentiated, realistic and personalised certification portfolio. The examination and assessment aspects are documented in the certification certificate and the accompanying certificate; and the qualifications assessed are clearly and comprehensively stated.
